As it turns out, I am an idiot. In 2010, I thought replacing the timing chain with a gear drive would be the bullet proof option. When the gear drive blew up like a grenade in 2012, causing every push rod and valve to look like an S, I contacted Summit Racing (from which I got said gear drive) and they said "oh yeah, gear drives do that all the time." Well, ya could'a told me that when I was buying it!! Anywho, enter 2018 and the car has been sitting for years in my garage waiting for me to have the funds and the time to fix it. A couple years ago I came into a little cash and I wrote "soon" in the dust on the windshield. Just after that I wrecked my old Bronco and had to sink my Cobra money into a new truck. So there she sits with the "soon" covered back up with dust. It's time she went to someone better, someone with more money and time, someone who can do her justice. That ain't me. I love ya, girl so it's time to let you go.
